In Chairman Mao's Museum in the middle of Tian'anmen square lies the body of Chairman Mao Zedong. Thousands of visitors come here to see this great leader of China and show their respect.
The National Museum to the east of Tian'anmen Square is composed of the Museum of Chinese History and the Museum of Chinese Revolution. In front of the museum is the count-down clock for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
The south of Tian'anmen Square is Zhengyangmen. It used to be the tallest architecture in ancient China, and now the best preserved city wall building and watchtower.
