The scenery of Longji Tour has been called the finest under heaven. This coach tour will take one day to visit Longsheng Ethnic Tribes and all-known Longji Terrace Qixingbanyue (Seven Stars around Moon) .
Pick up from your hotel in the morning and transfer to Longji Scenic area, visit Yao Village before lunch time and then go to the Zhuang village in the afternoon. And come back to Guilin at about 6:00 pm. |

Long Ji is one of the world's most beautiful rice terraces. It is also one of the world's largest rice terraces, measuring 66 square kilometers. Longji Rice Terraces- First started in the Yuan Dynasty and completely finished in the Qing Dynasty, the Longji Backbone Rice Terraces are a collection of rice fields uniquely positioned along the slope winding from the riverside to the mountain peak. The highest elevation is 885 m and the lowest 380m.
When is the best season to visit Longji? The time you go affects what you see. Spring is one of the best seasons to visit Longji. Because the paddies fields are filled with water, forming reflecting pools. The paddies are lush green with growing rice stalks in the summer. The Summer and the Autumn are all wonderful seasons to visit Longji, the green, yellow or colours golden hearvest are the important elements of the wonder view. But after the fall harvest, paddies are exposed bare soil. The view is not as good as other seasons.
When is the best time to Longji? The answer can be diversified. The people in Longji are the same important as the view in Longji. The peaceful and friendly people in Longji are mainly Zhuang, Yao and other minorities.
Huang luo Yao Village- Just on the other side of the Longji Terraces Mountain, visitors can enjoy the scenic views and also experience the unique culture of the Red Yao people. Red Yao women are famously known for their long, beautiful hair and their love of singing; guests can watch a performance given by the women (optional). |
